It’s hard to find the right words to capture just how much Kim’s and Natalie’s support meant to us in the journey of becoming parents. The sessions we had with them both before the birth really grounded us and helped us prepare, in a non rushed, supportive way. We really felt listened to, in absolutely non- dogmatic manner. These conversations helped us to slow down, in the middle of all the frantic preparations for our first kid, and to feel what was about to happen. 
 

As a birthing parent, Kim spoke with and for me with the medical team and supported me from the early labour to delivery. I honestly could not imagine doing it without her. She joined me in my vulnerability in a gentle, raw, knowing and non-patronising way and helped me meet my strentgh. She also supported my partner thoughout the process, which he found invaluable. Non-birthing parents also need support in this magical and monumental transition, and I was glad my partner was held by Kim’s loving presence. Should we ever choose to have another child, we know we would be reaching out to Kim and Natalie again.

Kim is a gentle, kind woman. The placenta capsules were made with love and care, and you can see that in every detail. I also received a beautiful print of the placenta along with the umbilical cord shaped into a heart. The placenta print is truly stunning, and I want to frame it. I’ve had a very positive experience with the capsules and can definitely recommend them! They give me love, warmth, and a lot of energy. I would recommend it to everyone. 

Our home birth was the most special and powerful experience I have ever had. Kim was an essential support, for both me and my partner. I cannot—and do not want to—imagine the birth of our son without her.

It’s hard for me to put into words what Kim has meant to us... and always will mean.

But her care, love, and attention, her support, and her objectivity—both before, during, and after—have made our birth journey a forever positive and heartwarming experience.

As a first time mother, living in a new country with my partner, having a doula instead of present family was a choice I don’t regret for a second. Already from the first introduction, Kim’s warm personality made me feel so safe with her. To meet a woman that you can see yourself be with you in the most intimate moment of your life is rare, and Kim has that gift. 
 

For me it was incredibly important that she also saw my partner and chemistry in our little birth team was just right. Her knowledge, empathy, and energy made us feel nothing but calm before, during and after the birth. I was also very happy Kim understood us as an interracial family and that we could communicate great in English. Kim came on my path to becoming a mother and I am grateful in so many ways to have been blessed with her support and love. The knowledge, care and understanding Kim brought to my birthing journey were invaluable. Being an expat abroad and not having family here to support during the prenatal and postnatal period was on my mind before becoming pregnant. 
 

When I met Kim I felt held and listened to, which allowed me to confidently step into my role as a mother, trusting my partner and my body, mind and soul to keep me safe along the way. We have become friends and I wouldn’t have welcomed my first child into the world any other way.

Kim was very personable and quick to respond to all my queries about the placenta encapsulation process and post delivery capsule care and intake.

She is always contactable and the collection of the placenta and delivery of the capsules were very quick. The painting of my placenta and the picture she took of it before processing it was beautiful and definitely a good momento for keepsake. Will definitely recommend her service!

I wanted to have my placenta encapsulated, and my midwife referred me to Kim. After our first email contact, we met in person to go over the encapsulation process. She took all the time needed to answer my questions and was very open about her own experiences.

After my daughter was born, she picked up the placenta from my home, and 1.5 days later, she delivered the capsules back. Everything was neatly packaged and included instructions. She was very involved during the usage, and I could always call or message her if I had questions.

Kim is a very kind, calm, and strong woman, and she makes you feel like she does everything she can to make your moment count. I would recommend her to everyone!

Kim is very supportive, attent and gentle, not just during the birth, but also during my pregnancy and the postpartum period. Every consult with her felt like a (couples) therapy and she made us feel so much better, helping reduce our fears, shames and doubts. During my hospital birth she stayed with us the whole time (at least 12 hours and came at night in the biggest snowstorm in recent history!) and helped everywhere she could. Made sure that not just me, but my man was also cared for. 
 

I had the luxury of having a very supporting partner, but if someone doesn't have one (or just like me needs that extra feminine power next to her), you definitely need Kim! She will help you through this magical, but tuff as hell rollercoaster. She is so sweet, we were really lucky to bump into her. Thank you soooo much! We love you Kimmiiii!” 

I recommend everyone to have a "Kim" during pregnancy and birth. Everybody needs a Kim! My contact with Kim felt close and involved. Great tips during conversations, allowing me to enjoy the pregnancy and the anticipation of the birth even more consciously. It’s such a gift to provide yourself and your partner with Kim’s care alongside the medical support. In my opinion, it’s so necessary. Nothing but love and praise!

I look back on a very warm and caring involvement. Even during moments in pregnancy, I appreciated being able to share things with Kim, and I received warm, wise words in return. So wonderful! I recommend all my friends who are yet to give birth, and other women as well, to have a Kim—but especially this Kim!

Kim was very involved with us throughout the entire pregnancy—a period that, in my opinion, is very important to be able to share. She consciously tuned into what we found important, and that gave us many insights. Personally, I really appreciated the prenatal conversations, her presence during the birth, and the postnatal moments.
